Coimbatore: Counting of votes cast in the Urban Local Body elections held on February 19 in Coimbatore is underway and one candidate each from DMK and AIADMK have won at the 3rd and 4th Wards respectively in Kinathukadavu Town Panchayat.
The counting of votes in the Kinathukadavu Town Panchayat area is underway at the Premier Mills Government Higher Secondary School. The DMK candidate Kavitha won at Ward No. 3 in Kinathukadavu Town Panchayat with 265 votes and the AIADMK candidate, Karthikeyan won at Ward No. 4 with 248 votes.
The counting is still in process and the results are being announced immediately as per the Election Commission’s directions.
