Pollachi: The private college wherein the votes will be counted for the urban local polls that ended two days back, 19th February 2022, has been brought under the control of the Election Commission.

The Election Commission has taken control of the vote-counting centre for Pollachi, a private college located in Palakkad Road, ahead of the urban local polls counting that will be held on the 22nd, Tuesday in Tamil Nadu.
The rooms where EVMs have been placed are closed and sealed and heavy security is deployed for security at the college.
The Election Commission has been monitoring the center through CCTVs installed in the area
