The cadres of BJP and DMK got into an argument as certain DMK members took a video of Vanathi Srinivasan arriving in a car to cast her vote, creating tension for sometime.
Coimbatore: Vanathi Srinivasan, a member of the Coimbatore South Assembly constituency and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party's National Women's Wing, arrived in her car to cast vote at the CMS School on 9th street, Gandhipuram.

Reportedly, certain members of DMK started shooting a video of her arriving in a car, following which the Media Secretary Sabarigirish got into an argument with the DMK triggering a stir in the area.

The police, who were on guard convinced both the parties and dispersed from the spot, triggering a brief stir in the area.

Vanathi however did not mind them taking the video and peacefully left the spot to cast her vote.
