A young voter in Vadavalli region and certain others in Siddhapudur area were unable to find their polling booths, due to which they returned home without voting. The public has been voting enthusiastically since morning at all polling stations on for the urban local body elections across Coimbatore district.
A young voter from Vadavalli was struggling to find out his polling station, and failed to identify despite waiting, and the officers, workers on duty at the booth were also unable to find out on the website. Similarly, voters in Siddhapudur area were also sent back as they did not know their polling station. The confusion has been caused due to the delimitation of the ward and voters in a few places are struggling to know which is their vote centre.
