The Coimbatore District Collector has declared that 19th February, the election day will be a paid holiday based on the directions of the Tamil Nadu Government
Coimbatore: A paid holiday has been declared for companies in Coimbatore on election day. The District Collector has subsequently issued statement. The urban local body elections will be held on 19th February, Saturday in Tamil Nadu.
As per the orders of the government of Tamil Nadu, paid holiday is declared for all micro, small and medium enterprises located, large companies located in areas where elections will be held on the 19th Saturday. The Coimbatore District Collector Dr GS Sameeran has officially declared holiday on Saturday, 19.02.2022 in Coimbatore. The district collector has announced that legal action will be taken against violators.
