Coimbatore: The demarcation processes in Kinathukadavu polling stations has begun as the Urban Local Body Elections will be held on Saturday, 19th February. Demarcation processes is started near the polling booth in Kinathukadavu Town Panchayat as the Tamil Nadu urban local polls are to be held on Saturday, 19th February.
The demarcation lines are being drawn to restrict candidates with the boundaries to collect votes from the people who are casting their votes near the polling booth tomorrow, the day of polling. As part of this, town panchayat employees are in the process of laying a 200-meter boundary near polling booths in areas under Kinathukadavu Town Panchayat. The boundaries are marked at the polling stations in Kalaivanar Road and Government Girls Higher Secondary School.
It is noteworthy that the State Election Commission has directed that the candidates should not cross the borderline and collect votes from the people in the urban local body elections on Saturday.
