The consecration ceremony of Varasiddhi Vinayagar Temple in Kinathukadavu was held on Wednesday and the temple had arranged for an ‘Annadanam’ for the festival
Coimbatore: The consecration ceremony of Varasiddhi Vinayagar Temple in Kinathukadavu was held on Wednesday, after 12 years. The temple is located in the Panchayat Union complex at Kinathukadavu Pollachi Road in Coimbatore District. Annadhanam was offered on the occasion of the Consecration Ceremony.
A Yagasalai was set up in front of the temple and pujas were performed with holy water. The main event, the Consecration Ceremony, was held on Wednesday morning. The holy water, theertha jugs placed on the yaga salai were taken to the tower, and instruments such as drums were played while the holy water was poured into the urn in the tower and consecrated.
A special Abishek puja was performed for the deity that was adorned in special decoration. A large number of panchayat union office workers, panchayat council presidents, and union committee members participated in the consecration ceremony and offered prayers.
