Kollywood actor Vishnu Vishal, along with his new film FIR’s Director, Mano Aanand and co-actor Reba Monica visited a theatre in the city to gauge the impact of their movie.
Coimbatore: Actor Vishnu Vishal, co-star Reba Monica and Director Mano Aanand visited a theatre in Coimbatore to view audience response to their film 'FIR' which has been released in the theatres.
“OTT platforms are good, but theatres never go out of fashion,” stated actor Vishnu Vishal to media personnel in Coimbatore while visiting a theatre to watch his film FIR. Vishnu Vishal opined that the film had received a good response and was happy to witness fans approaching theatres even during the pandemic to watch films.
Stating that there were no ill comments on religion in the film, Vishnu Vishal clarified that it has been misunderstood. “For me, cinema is business,” he said, adding that when it is commercial, it is normal to get some negative reviews and accept it. He was also of the opinion that while OTT platforms are good, keeping in mind the pandemic situation and many good films have also been released on the OTT platform, theatres would never go out of fashion.
