Coimbatore: The CCTV footage of a government bus losing control as it crashed the barrier in the middle of the road, leading to a narrow escape of a four-wheeler behind has startled the internet.
The government bus on its way to the depot at Somanur Power House on Sunday night, reportedly lost control and crashed, into the mounting the barrier in the middle of the road. As a result of which it leaned on one side.
Fortunately, the driver and conductor on the bus escaped with minor injuries. Furthermore, a major accident was averted due to lack of passengers on the bus. CCTV footage of the bus crash has now emerged. However, the footage of a car following the bus surviving a narrow escape, as the driver managed to avoid the accident is viral on the various social media platforms.
Subsequently, the bus from Annur was taken to the depot. Police arrived at the spot after receiving information and are investigating the cause of the accident.
