Three persons were killed in an accident after a TNSTC bus and an auto collided near Sowripalayam in Coimbatore on Sunday, evening.
Coimbatore: Three persons were killed in an accident after a TNSTC bus and an auto collided near Sowripalayam in Coimbatore on Sunday, evening.
According to initial reports, a TNSTC
bus, S4 enroute via Sowripalayam, Madhampatty, Perur collided head on with an auto near Sowripalayam.
Three people travelling in the auto were crushed to death in the accident. And, the driver of the auto, Goutham who sustained severe injuries was rushed toCoimbatore Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Isakimuthu (23), Kalaivannan (23) and Prabhakaran (50). The Singanallur Police arrived to the spot and sent the bodies for post mortem examination ans are investigating.
Traffic was halted for over half hour in Sowripalayam area due to the accident.
