Government bus crash kills court employee in Tirupur

Police arrived at the scene on information and escorted the driver of the government bus to the police station and are conducting an investigation.


Tirupur: The death of a court employee in a government bus collision in Tirupur has caused great tragedy.

Vinod Kumar (32) was a junior assistant in the Tirupur District Court. He was travelling in a two-wheeler with his co-worker Dinesh to attend a court staff training class to be held today at a private engineering college in Vijayamangalam, where he lives in the Poompuhar area of Tirupur.

Vinod Kumar was killed on the spot when a government bus heading to Nambiyur from the old bus stand collided head-on with his two-wheeler him while approaching the Tirupur Valarmati Noyyal bridge.



Also, Dinesh, who recovered with injuries, was rushed to the Government General Hospital for treatment. Later, the police arrived at the scene and escorted Yuvraj, the driver of the government bus, to the police station and are investigating.
