Coimbatore: Karthik, (20), from Coimbatore, was walking in the Thaneerpandal area in Saravanampatti area of Coimbatore yesterday. He saw a purse lying on the road and picked it up. It contained various important documents including Rs 3,000 cash, ATM card, PAN card, Smart card, Aadhar card. Karthik immediately handed it over to the Saravanampatti police station traffic sub-inspector.
The sub-inspector immediately called the cell number found in one of the documents in the purse. It was revealed that the purse belonged to Thangapandian was 22 years old and stayed in Odaipatti Rayar Kula Street, Theni district. He had completed his B.Sc. Karthik handed over the purse to the owner and he was appreciated for his honesty.
