Coimbatore: The Election flying Squad seized cash from a person who was carrying it without proper documents in Coimbatore, during a vehicle check on Thursday.
The Election Flying Squad, FST II, seized Rs.1,65,400 cash from a person who was carrying it without any relevant documents, during a vehicle check in North Zone, Ward Number 18, in Nallampalayam area opposite MR Complex at around 9.10 am. The Sub Treasury Officer at Race Course, Coimbatore was informed and the seized money has been handed over to the Coimbatore District South Assistant Treasury Officer.
