It was revealed that Alagiri (46), a resident of Sarojini Nagar, Selvapuram, Coimbatore, was carrying unaccounted gold jewellery weighing 3,900 grams from Coimbatore to Chennai. Following this, Salem RPF officers arrested him. He was handed over to the Salem Rowing Squad R Prakash State Tax Officer.
