Coimbatore: The AIADMK candidate Kirubalini Karthikeyan has been campaigning door to door at ward 7, in Coimbatore.
She is engaged in intensive door-to-door vote collection for the party, the dual leaf symbol by handing out leaflets in urban areas.
Kirubalini received warm welcome in the area.
She was accompanied by MGR Youth Wing District Secretary Senthil Karthikeyan, college students and party workers who are seeking support from the public.
Speaking on the occasion, she asserted that the AIADMK would achieve a landslide victory in not only ward 7 but also in all the 100 wards in Coimbatore Corporation if the public is made aware the achievements of former minister S P Velumani.
Kirubalini Karthikeyan stated that, a modern park at a project cost of Rs 1 crore and water facilities by setting up borewells have been provided at her own expense in BLS Nagar, ward 7. She also pointed out that LED lights have been installed everywhere in ward 7 areas during the last AIADMK regime and said the AIADMK was sure to win all the 100 wards of Coimbatore in the upcoming urban local body elections.
