Tirupur: A BJP candidate in Tirupur was involved in collecting votes by ironing clothes.
The BJP State Youth wing deputy head, Sivasankari, contesting in ward no.21 in Tirupur in local polls, collected votes pressing clothes for the public.
BJP's state youth wing vice president Sivashankari, and district deputy president Nataraj, who is contesting in ward 22, met the public in the ward areas on Wednesday and were involved in intensive vote collection. They collected votes by pressing clothes.
The candidates, Nataraj and Sivasankari urged the public to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party, stating that if BJP comes to power, good governance in the local body will continue. The candidates assured of addressing the basic problems in wards 21 and 22.
