The DMK District In-charge, Dr Varadharajan, while addressing the press in Pollachi stated that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam will grab seats this time, in the urban local body elections
Pollachi: Dr. Varadharajan stated that the victory in urban local polls has been assured for DMK and that the party has brought in full efforts in municipalities and town panchayats.
A consultative meeting was held at the DMK office in Coimbatore South district on Pollachi Palladam Road under the chairmanship of District In-charge Dr Varadarajan in which the Union Secretaries and candidates contesting for Pollachi Municipality DMK participated.
The town panchayats and municipalities in the southern district met the public to ensure victory for the DMK candidates and discussed the achievements of the state government and have been collecting votes.
The candidates have been campaigning highlighting the achievements of the DMK government in the past nine months since assuming office. Dr Varadharajan stated that most public support DMK and the victory in Negamam, a major town panchayat is a positive sign.
Similarly, district in-charge Dr Varadarajan expressed confidence and informed that victory is assured in 2 municipalities and 4 town panchayats.
