Coimbatore: Coimbatore Deputy Inspector General of Police M S Muthusamy and Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Selvanagaratnam participated in the law and order consultation meeting that was held at the Vadavalli Police Station in connection with the urban local body elections.
Security arraignments at the various polling booths in the jurisdiction of the Vadavalli police station in the Perur division were discussed. The officials also visited sensitive polling booths that are located in Kinathukkadavu, Madukkarai, KG Chavadi, Perur, Alandurai, Karunya Nagar, Thondamuthur.
Marudhamalai Subramanian Swami Devasthanam High School is a polling booth and a counting centre. Coimbatore Deputy Inspector General of Police M S Muthusamy and Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Selvanagaratnam visited and oversaw the arrangements.
The officials also visited Nagarajapuram, Nambi Alaghanpalayam, Thaliyur, Attu, Kembanur, Thondamuthur, Pooluvapatti, Palayamkottai, Sundakkamuthur and Inquired about security arrangements.
