Coimbatore: The recruitment exams for the post of Senior Teachers in Government schools held by the Teachers' Recruitment Board are scheduled for February 12 and will be a computer-based exam.
As many as 2.6 lakh candidates appear for the competitive examination, for the post of Senior Teachers of Government schools. The exams will be held at 180 centers. The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) conducts a competitive examination to fill up 2,207 vacant posts of Senior Teachers in Government Higher Secondary Schools and will be held from February 12 to 20.
160 to 180 centers have been set up across the State and more than 200 supervising committees have been formed to monitor exam irregularities. CCTV cameras have been installed and live visual recordings have been arranged. Details of the exam can be found on the website www.trb.th.nic.in
