The CM stated that one does not become a doctor by joining medicine but has to be selected in medical studies and added that NEET cannot be perceived just superficially. “There are so many things to oppose the BJP. DMK does not need to do politics with NEET.” Stalin said.

He alleged that the BJP government imposed NEET in 2016, which the former CM Jayalalitha opposed and the NEET was exempted. In case the TN CM, after Jayalalitha, would have opposed, in NEET in 2016-17, NEET would have been exempted, Stalin informed. The Chief Minister, adding that DMK is still stubborn on NEET held in Tamil Nadu, stated that the party will not back off nor will the party allow any implementation of any scheme that is against the welfare of the public.

Stalin urged the public to vote for DMK in the local polls. He informed that the DMK government thinks about the people and is now running the state. He assured that the DMK if emerges victorious in the local body polls, will bring people's schemes to all urban local bodies.
