The candidate representing Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam, Ramya Venugopal, filed her nominations for the upcoming local polls at the Central Zone office and stated that the party’s clear action plan will definitely bag her seat in the constituency.
Coimbatore: Makkal Needhi Maiam councillor candidate, Ramya Venugopal filed nominations for the local body elections at the central zone.
Ramya Venugopal is contesting for the Makkal Needhi Maiam Party in ward 63 of Coimbatore South constituency has filed her nomination papers at the Central Regional Office, Coimbatore.
Addressing a press conference here, she said, that she had been campaigning in ward 63, promising a solution to the basic amenities issue of the people.
She further stated that if she succeeds, proper action will be taken to remove garbage waste, which is becoming a concern in the area.
Ramya also assured that she would work to address the problem such as the sewage treatment and installation of street lights in ward 63 areas for the benefit of the people.
