Tirupur: The KMK President Best Ramasamy has hailed the Union Budget 2022.
The Kongunadu Munnetra Kazhagam head, ‘Best’ S Ramasamy has called the union Budget 2022, as a path to progress and congratulated the FM Nirmala Sitharaman. Addressing a press conference in Tirupur the party president, stated that it is a responsibility the Finance Minister has highlighted through her budget to protect and develop agriculture using organic manure.
He said, “The plan to expand new national highways to a distance of 26,000 km and the announcement that road infrastructure will be improved in exchange for world class facilities for a distance of 22,000 km-check-in the next financial year is excellent.”
Ramasamy called this an example of the long-term progress of the country and the development of road transport. The launch of 400 Vande Bharat train and the creation of 2 Railway Infrastructure for a distance of 1,000 km by the end of next year (2023) is a special announcement.
He further thanked Finance Minister for finalising the Godavari-Krishna-Kaveri-Penna river connectivity project and implementation of irrigation projects at a cost of Rs.44,000 crores for river connectivity projects.
“A sum of Rs 19,500 crore has been allocated for increasing the power generation through solar energy. It was announced that 60 lakh jobs would be created under self-reliance scheme and steps to provide an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh crore to small enterprises are welcoming.”
He also hailed the announcement on digital teaching, and added that Digital Universities will give importance to education through the medium of mother tongue from 1st to 12th standard. The announcement of the launch of 200 more educational television channels has also gained appreciation. He also lauded the auction of 5G spectrum to be held this year and e-service facility will be provided to all villages.
Conclusively, he stated that the Budget 2022-2023 of the Government of India is aimed at taking our country on the path of progress.
