The Kinathukadavu police received a tip-off on illegal rooster fight held in Masanaickenpudur, Athumettu region near Thamaraikulam in Kinathukadavu. Police rushed to the spot and arrested four persons, Loganathan, (34) of Nilayalampalayam, Sarath Kumar, (22) of Thamaraikulam Main Road, Senthil Kumar, (47), of Ganapathi Nallampalayam Ramasamy Nagar, Coimbatore and Kotangipalayam Gopalakrishnan, (47).
The police also seized two roosters that were used for gambling.
