Coimbatore: :The Election FST-1, flying squad during a check in Vadavalli, Thondamuthur area seized, Rs 86,700 carried without appropriate documentation on Monday.
The Election Code of Conduct 2022 is in force in Coimbatore and the Flying Squad has been conducting searches throughout the city. The FST-1 during a search at ward 38 Thondamuthur Road in Vadavalli at around 8.30 am on Monday, seized Rs 86,700/- which was transported without relevant documents.
The Sub Treasury Officer at Racecourse, Coimbatore was informed and the money was handed over to the Coimbatore district south Assistant Treasury Officer.
