Coimbatore: The Election Flying squad, FST 1 seized 2-lakh that was carried without proper documents in Coimbatore on Sunday.
Following the Election Code of Conduct, 2022 of the ordinary elections, The Flying Squad Team -1, FST 1 at 7.30 pm on Sunday, seized a sum of 2,00,000 during vehicle searches at Government Higher Secondary Road, Koundampalayam under ward 34.
The Race Course Sub Treasury Officer was informed and the seized amount was handed over to the District South Sub Treasury Officer.
