Coimbatore: The Victoria Town Hall in Coimbatore is under renovation.
The Council Meeting will be held after the urban local body elections and the renovation work of the Victoria Conference Hall is in progress. According to a source from the Corporation, 'The conference hall of the Corporation, at the Victoria Hall building, is being used for council meetings. The wards in the Coimbatore Corporation are increased from 72 to 100 now. This has also increased the number of councillors. In case of a meeting, post the election, to avoid congestion, the hall is being renovated and the process which is underway, will be completed as soon as possible.'
