Coimbatore: The city police arrested a 28-year-old ganja dealer and subsequently seized 1.100 kg of ganja he possessed for sale on Saturday.
The Thudiyalur Police special squad led by Inspector Gnanasekran raided the Idayarpalayam area based on a secret tip-off on the sale of ganja. The special team went for the raid based on the orders of the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Selvanagarathinam.
The squad arrested Selvakumar, (28), son of Ramar of Theni, for possession of 1.100 kg of ganja. Selvakumar has been lodged in judicial custody
