Coimbatore: In a spine-chilling accident near Annur, a 10-year-old girl fell off from a motorcycle and lost her life, after her dupatta got entangled in the wheel. The girl's head got decapitated in the accident.
According to reports, Dharshana (10) daughter of Subramaniam from Vadakkalur in Annur was returning back to home in a motorbike after a doctor consultation. The child was riding pillion on the motorcycle.
Meanwhile, while travelling, the girl's dupatta got entangled in the rear wheel of a bike near Odhimalai. She fell off the bike which resulted in her head getting severed from her body.
Seeing the gory accident, Vignesh, the family friend of the girl who was riding the motorcycle cried for help and the passersby immediately alerted the police. The Annur police who rushed to the spot retrieved the body and severed head and sent the corpse for postmortem examination.
The public who witnessed the accident scene were left in deep shock after seeing the little girl's head severed.
