Coimbatore: A 19-year-old boy was hacked to death by his fellow Hindu Munnani members as the teenager incepted a finance company on his own.
Sarvanan (19) son of Sundaram of Nagamapudur near Annur was hacked to death by two men who arrived on a two-wheeler while he was waiting near a signage on Coimbatore Road in Annur.
The murders later surrendered at the Annur police station. The Mettupalayam DSP Balamurugan is conducting investigations. Reportedly, Saravanan was scythed after he incepted a finance company on his own, leaving behind his friends from the Hindu Munnani party. According to reports, Sarvanan called it quits from the party to join DMK last week.
Tamil Selvan (20), son of Kannan of Pillaiyappampalayam near Annur who was involved in the murder surrendered. He is an auto rickshaw driver. Panneerselvam's son Rajarajan (22) of Kurumbapalayam Amman Kovil Road near Kovilpalayam, also involved in the murder of the teenager surrendered.
An investigation is underway.
