Coimbatore: The administrators of the Trinity Church along with members are agitating and demanding the arrest of the vandalists who damaged the St. Sebastian’s church.

The statue of St. Sebastian at Trinity Church gate in Ramanathapuram area of Coimbatore was damaged by riders on two-wheelers on Monday night. While the Ramanathapuram police have registered a case and are investigating the incident, the Trinity Church administrators, church workers, and members protested in front of the church demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the vandalism.

The protesters carried banners condemning the incident and demanding immediate arrest of those involved.

The deliberate vandalism targeting a religious place of worship has disturbed the Christian community in Coimbatore. Various parties and organizations have come out in vocal support of the church.
