Taking a visit to the Trinity Cathedral church in Coimbatore after the St. Sebastian’s statue was vandalised by unknown members two days back, the former AIADMK Minister SP Velumani stated that an immediate action on the issue will be suggested.
Coimbatore: Ex-Minister SP Velumani inspected the Trinity Church, statue vandalised site on Wednesday.
The statue of St. Sebastian placed at the Trinity Church and School in Ramanathapuram was damaged and vandalised by unknown persons. They reportedly peddled stones, broke the glass and vandalised the statue two nights back.
Ramanathapuram police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

The AIADMK former Minister SP Velumani personally visited and urged immediate action is taken.

City District Secretary and North MLA Amman K Arjunan, Corporation Organisation Secretary and Kinathukadavu MLA Damodaran and Sulur Legislator V P Kandasamy were also present on the occasion.
