On the occasion of the 73rd republic day, Tirupur District Collector, Vineeth unfurled the tricolour flag and received the guard of honour. He honoured police officers for their meritorious service and bravery and also frontline workers.
Tirupur: The Tirupur Collector, Vineeth unfurled the tricolour on the 73rd Republic Day, honoured the police officers for their bravery and best performance, receiving the parade honour.
With immense patriotism and fanfare, the 73rd Republic Day Celebrations is being held across the country, and as a part, the celebrations is being held at the Chikkanna Government Arts College Ground in Tirupur.
The District Collector Vineeth unfurled the national flag and received the parade honour.
The collared balloons were let free in the air, following which 55 police personnel from the district and municipal areas were felicitated with the TN Chief Minister’s medal and certificates for their heroic performances.
A total of 68 police constables were felicitated as well.
The Collector distributed welfare assistance to 216 beneficiaries with house site patta worth Rs 5.86-crore and a loan scheme for differently-abled persons.
