During December 2021 'Fly Scoot' airlines resumed it's service between Coimbatore- Singapore.
Coimbatore: Before 'Covid- 19' Pandemic outbreak totally 3 international flight services were provided at Coimbatore International Airport. To Colombo, Sharjah and Singapore.
Post Pandemic outbreak all 3 services were temporarily suspended. Later the flight service to Sharjah and Singapore has been resumed. Whereas flight service to Colombo is still suspended.
Air Arabia flight operated between Coimbatore- Sharjah continues to carry 2.5 to 3 tonnes of cargo each time.
During December 2021 'Fly Scoot' airlines resumed it's service between Coimbatore- Singapore.
Weekly three flights are operated. Initially this flight did not handle cargo. Only passengers were travelling. From January 2022, this flight has started to carry cargo. Each time 1 tonne of cargo is booked.
Aviation Sources said, "Fly Scoot' airlines from this month has started to handle cargo between Coimbatore and Singapore. Presently 1 tonne of cargo is booked each time.

Mostly vegetables only are been booked for cargo transportation. Ladies finger, Small Onion and Paneer cargo are handled more." Aviation Sources said.
