Coimbatore: BJP activists stormed the Coimbatore Puluvapatti municipal office and chanted slogans as they hung a photo of Narendra Modi inside the office.
The BJP, led by Baskaran, the district secretary of the BJP's unorganized workers' union, stormed the Puluvapatti municipal office near Coimbatore last morning and hung a portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi inside the office.

Municipal office staff who witnessed this incident, stated that it is wrong to visit the office without permission and change the photo in the office. They also stated that visitors should not to come into the office without wearing a mask.
This led to an argument between the BJP loyalists and the staff at the municipal office. A video recording brings to light the BJP saying that the photos of Chief Minister Stalin and former Chief Minister Karunanidhi should be in their respective place, and that if the photo of Modi is removed, the DMK is to blame. Video footages of the incident are currently going viral on social websites.
