The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated the Combined Water Supply scheme for areas of Palladam and Tirupur Panchayat Unions at an estimated cost of ₹ 99-crore through video conferencing.
Tirupur: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated the Combined Water Supply Scheme at an estimated cost of 99-crore through video conferencing from Chennai. Bhavani River will be a source of water for 155 rural habitations of Palladam and Tirupur Panchayat Unions.
The Combined Water Supply Scheme has been designed to supply 8.07-million litres of water per annum and 25.42-million litres of water in case the need increases.
A meeting on the project was held at a private marriage hall on Palladam Road under the chairmanship of Tirupur District Collector S Vineeth. District Engineers and Officers participated and briefed about the project.
