Later, he attended the Thalikku Thangam Thittam Scheme gold distribution ceremony at Rasakkapalayam and distributed welfare assistance.
The Minister stated that 24-crore is allocated for 39 road improvement works in Town Panchayats and Municipalities in Coimbatore district. He informed that welfare assistance has been provided to 2,800 women at a cost of 21.65-lakhs under the marriage assistance for women and Thalikku Thangam Thittam Scheme here on Thursday.
