Coimbatore: The Chief Education Officer of Coimbatore is diagnosed with covid-19 infection after developing a fever. According to reports, her family has tested positive for the infection. The family is undergoing home isolation.
Geetha, Chief Education Officer (CEO), Coimbatore District School Education Department, has been diagnosed with corona infection. Reportedly, Geetha underwent covid-19 test after developing fever and physical pain. The CEO isolated herself at home after testing positive.
As per sources, her family has also been diagnosed with the infection. The officer has not visited the office for the past few days due to the Pongal holidays, and hence no one in the office is affected.
Despite her absence, work was carried out as usual at the office on Wednesday.
