Coimbatore: The district electricity board has announced a power shutdown for areas under Seeranaickenpalayam, due to the monthly maintenance work at substations.
Vaitheeswaran, Executive Engineer, Seeranaickenpalayam, Coimbatore has stated that there will be no power on 21st of January, Friday, due to the monthly maintenance work.
The press release stated, “Power outages will occur from 9 am to 4 am tomorrow in the area under substation in Seeranaickenpalayam area due to maintenance work.”
“Yamuna Nagar, Kalappanaickenpatti, G. C. T. Nagar, K. T. my. Palayam, Marudham Nagar, Navavoor Division, Bharathiar University, Somayampalayam, Vasantham Nagar, IOP Colony, Marudhamalai, Agarwal Road, Kanuvai, KNG Pudur and Thadagam Road areas will have no power.”
Similarly, Sulur Ondipudur Executive Engineer Murugaiyan issued a press release that said that there will be no power supply from 9 am to 5 pm, on 21st of January, Friday as maintenance work will be carried out in the area under Sulur substation.
Sulur, T.M. Nagar, B.S. Nagar, Kannampalayam, Ranganathapuram, Kangeyampalayam, M. G. Pudur and Rawattur areas, will experience a power shutdown.
