Coimbatore: The postal services department has stated that the public should make use of the ‘Postal Info’ app introduced during the lockdown in 2020, once again in the wake of third wave of Covid, to avail postal services from the comfort of their homes.
In 2020, the Postal Department launched a mobile app called 'Post Info' during the lockdown, to make it easier and safer for the public to avail postal services from their homes, and has now once again has advised public to make use of it as the number of cases are increasing in the third wave in the city.
The ‘Post Info’ mobile app can be downloaded via Google Play Store. Through the app, quick mail, register post, parcel, electronic money order can also be monitored. People can locate post offices, monitor their complaints and use postage calculator, insurance, interest calculator and premium can be accessed as well.
