Elderly persons over 60 years of age with co-morbidities can register for the precautionary booster dose with their details by contacting 0422-2302323 to be vaccinated at home.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, Raja Gopal Sunkara informed the IOP that special measures have been taken on behalf of the Corporation to make the Precautionary Booster Dose available to senior citizens above 60 years of age with co-morbidities.
According to a statement issued by the CCMC Commissioner, only persons who have crossed 9 months i.e 39 weeks after their second dose of vaccination are eligible to receive the Precautionary Booster Dose. Elderly persons over 60 years of age with co-morbidities can register their details by contacting 0422-2302323 to be vaccinated at home.
Also, persons who have not been vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccination against Covid-19 and over the age of 60 and those who have crossed the specified days and are eligible for the second dose of the vaccination can also register their details by contacting the same number to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in their homes.
