Coimbatore: A sanitary worker who is a permanent employee had lodged a complaint with the Peelamedu Police stating that he was deliberately slapped by a contract worker at work and demanded immediate action against his co-worker.
Sivakumar, a sanitary worker in the Coimbatore Corporation was reportedly slapped by a contract co-worker, Selvam.
In his complaint to the police, Sivakumar stated that he had availed a leave of absence for two days as he was ill and had informed the supervisor,but the contract co-worker, Selvam not only deliberately slapped him on the cheek but also abused him with inappropriate words. Sivakumar demanded an immediate investigation and action against the co-worker.
