A G Babu, previously the Deputy Chief of the Vellore Freight Police has been appointed as Tirupur Municipal Police Commissioner.
Tirupur: A G Babu assumed charge as the 12th Commissioner of Police in Tirupur on Monday.
A G Babu who was the Deputy Chief of the Vellore Freight Police takes charge as the Tirupur Municipal Commissioner of Police following the transfer of Vanitha, who had been serving as the Tirupur Municipal Commissioner of Police.
He assumed his responsibility in the office of the Tirupur Municipal Commissioner of Police on Monday. A G Babu assured that steps would be taken to ensure that the Tirupur Municipal Police and the public worked in unison. "All illegal activities would be monitored and action would be taken immediately, with complaints and requests from the police also considered immediately," he assured.
