Special Sub-Inspector Sundaramurthy of Kinathukadavu Police Station was on a surveillance mission at Kovilpalayam area at midnight last night and caught hold of a man upon doubts near Kovilpalayam bus stand.
Upon interrogation, the contradictory replies led the police to take the suspect to the police station. Investigations revealed that he is Manikandan from Thondamuthur.
They have since registered a case against Manikandan and are investigating.
