Two persons suffered serious injuries as their two-wheelers collided head-on near the old check post area in Kinathukadavu which the police are investigating.
Coimbatore: A 50-year-old and another man’s two-wheeler collided near Kinathukadavu, in which two of them were seriously injured on Sunday.
Palanisami, (50), a native of Mandramampalayam near Kinathukadavu, was on his way to Kinathukadavu from Veerappakoundanur Road along with Natraj (59), of Muthugoundanur on his bike. Reportedly, Palanisami’s vehicle was hit by another two-wheeler near the old check post in which Palanisami sustained serious injuries.
He was rescued and sent to the hospital by ambulance. Unfortunately, Kuppuraj, the person in another two-wheeler who collided with Palanisami’s also sustained a head injury and was admitted to a private hospital in Sundarapuram.
The Kinathukadavu police have registered a case and an investigation is underway.
