The former AIADMK Minister SP Velumani has stated that the AIADMK cadre in Coimbatore will be observing MGR’s birthday on the 17th following government guidelines and also distribute welfare to the needy.
Coimbatore: Former Chief Minister MG Ramachandran’s birthday will be celebrated in Coimbatore on Monday following the covid-19 safety guidelines.
The former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Bharat Ratna MG Ramachandran’s 105th birth anniversary is to be celebrated on the 17th at the behest of AIADMK coordinator and former Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy and Party Coordinator and former Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam.
Celebrations will be held in town panchayats, panchayats, and branch wards in union areas of the Suburban South District. Party flags will be hoisted and floral tributes will be paid. Sweets will be distributed to the public.
The Former Minister SP Velumani has also requested the party to provide welfare assistance to the poor and needy and volunteers and administrators should attend the event complying with the covid-19 norms.
