The Kinathukadavu police have booked the person who allegedly attacked a sub-court office assistant who had gone to summon him in connection with a case in Vadapudur.
Coimbatore: The Kinathukadavu police have booked the person who allegedly attacked a sub-court office assistant who had gone to summon him in connection with a case in Vadapudur.
Murthy, (58), works as an assistant in the Office of the Pollachi Sub-Court in Coimbatore. He visited the house of Kannappan, a resident of the Vadapudur area near Kinathukadavu, on the 2nd to issue a court summons on the case.
Kannappan's son Vignesh, (31), prevented Murthy from giving the summons, abused him, and reportedly assaulted Murthy.
Murthy filed a complaint against Vignesh at the Kinathukadavu police station, based on which the police have booked Vignesh and interrogations are underway.
