Coimbatore: Saravanakumar is 38-years old and is from a town near Coimbatore. He went to eat at a restaurant in the area with his friend Deepak on Tuesday.
Saravanakumar, then asked the supplier who came there for vegetarian food. But the supplier brought non-vegetarian food. When Saravanakumar questioned him about this, they had an argument and the hotel owner Kishore Kumar, (40), who was there at the time, attacked him.
He lodged a complaint with the police but the police did not take any action. Thus, he lodged a complaint with the District Superintendent of Police. Following this, the police arrested Kishore who assaulted him.
