The Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer stated at this review meeting that Coimbatore District Corporation has appointed 5 District Revenue Officers as Monitoring Officers, one per zone to oversee coronavirus prevention activities preventive measures.
Coimbatore: The Corporation Commissioner said that one-fifth-district revenue officers have been appointed as monitoring officers for the zone to monitor coronavirus prevention activities and monitor the preventive measures.
Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Raja Gopal Sunkara said that one-fifth of the 5 District Revenue Officers have been appointed as Monitoring Officers for the zone to monitor coronavirus prevention activities in the Corporation.
The meeting with the District Revenue Officers who have been appointed as Monitoring Officers for all the 5 Zones of the Corporation in connection with the Coronavirus infection prevention activities was held at the Coimbatore Corporation Head Office Conference under the chairmanship of Raja Gopal Sunkara, Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer.
The Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer stated at this review meeting that Coimbatore District Corporation has appointed 5 District Revenue Officers as Monitoring Officers at the rate of one per zone to oversee coronavirus prevention activities in 5 zones and monitor the preventive measures.
Meenakshi Sundaram for the North Zone, Dr Selvasurabhi for the South Zone, Dr. Paul Princely Rajkumar for the East Zone and for the West Zone Dr. M. Shamila and Govindarajulu are appointed to the Central Zone. Collection of information such as details of persons undergoing coronavirus test, information on persons diagnosed with the infection, including private hospitals, scan centers and laboratories in all the zones of the Corporation. Information on those who have been confirmed infected should be communicated to the concerned zones.
In addition, before the detection of 500 flu cases, field workers should monitor the follow-up activities, including 5 specialized medical teams, which will go home and provide coronavirus treatment, and special flu camps, which will be held on a daily basis, said Raja Gopal Sunkara, Commissioner and Special Officer of the Corporation.
The review meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of the Corporation, Mo. Shamila, the Assistant City Health Officer, Vasant Divakar, and the Corporation officials.
