The district administration has appointed five officers in DRO positions in Coimbatore as in charge of each zone in the Corporation, to monitor daily Covid cases in the light of numbers escalating every day.

Private hospitals, scan centers, laboratories and places where income tax raids are being conducted should also collect data of persons who have been confirmed as positive for Covid-19 infection.
The Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara has further directed that those diagnosed with infection should inform the respective zone of the details. Frontline workers and medical staff who provide treatment for those infected at home should keep a close watch on the medical camps that are held every day.
