Coimbatore: Kerala Customs officials have seized the drug 'Hashish Oil' which was taken on a bus from Coimbatore to Alappuzha.
Based on a tip-off received by the Kerala Customs that drugs were being smuggled in a bus from Coimbatore to Alappuzha (KSRTC), Customs officials conducted a search in the Walayar area. During the search, the Kerala Customs arrested the person who was carrying the item.
11.3-kg of drugs were seized from the person. Its value is said to be around Rs 3.5-crore. During the investigation, it was revealed that the person who smuggled the drugs was Pramod (35) from Vilavankodu area of Kanyakumari. Kerala Customs officials are conducting a serious investigation into the arrest.
